Please use the attached Absentee Ballot Application if you will not be able to vote in person at the Village of Walden Local Elections to be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 8am-9pm at the Walden Firehouse (230 Old Orange Avenue, Walden). Should any eligible registered voters be in need of an absentee ballot, and like their ballot mailed to them prior to the election, they must fill out the absentee ballot application and return it to the Village Clerk’s office no later than Tuesday, March 13, 2018 to meet the mailing deadline. Please be advised that residents may hand in absentee ballot applications in person to the Village Clerk’s office until Monday, March 19, 2018 however they will receive an absentee ballot on the spot and will need to return the ballot by March 20th. Absentee ballot applications are also available at Village Hall on the 3rd floor of Village Hall in the document holder next to the office doors.
For your knowledge, should anyone like to become an eligible registered Village of Walden voter, in order to be eligible for the March 20, 2018 Local Election, they must register with the Orange County Board of Elections no later than Friday, March 9, 2018.
