John Revella, Village Manager of the Village Of Walden reports: today is Tuesday May 15, 2018, it is approximately 6:15PM. I am calling to advise all residents that due to today’s storms, the Village will be operating under a State of Emergency through May 22, 2018 at 7AM. During this time we ask that you all be vigilant of your surroundings. Please avoid downed trees as power lines may be hidden within them. Please advise the Village of any dangerous conditions by calling the Village office at 845-778-2177 ext. 1500. Please also try to check on your neighbors to make sure they are ok.

If you have any downed trees limbs or branches, we ask that you please put them near the curb for pickup by Public Works as soon as possible. We will not be able to assist in this area once the State of Emergency is over so they need to be curb side by Tuesday, May 22nd at 7am

We thank you again for your understanding and hope everyone a safe and speedy cleanup.
