The Town of Montgomery CAC is providing a container gardening workshop on Sun, 5/16/21, from 12:00-1:30pm at Wooster’s Grove in Walden.
All town & village residents are welcome to attend. School age children may also attend with an adult.
Soil, plants & seeds will be provided.
We ask that participants bring a container to plant in. This activity is part of the Climate Smart program. Recycling & repurposing items in your home lessens the items we throw into landfills. So bring empty cans, small buckets, old flower pots, even an old pot for cooking! So many things can be used to plant in! No broken items please.
If you’ve never gardened before or if outdoor space where you live is limited, this is the perfect way to begin & enjoy gardening!
