Electronics recycling resumed at the Orange County Transfer stations #1 in New Hampton and #2 in Newburgh on July 16th!

TVs are $10 each (regardless of the size) and everything else is free of charge to residents (printers, fax machines, computer monitors and towers, scanners, small servers, cables/wires, laptops, cell and smart phones, tablets, video game consoles, DVD players, VCRs, and digital music players)  Microwaves, small appliances, and vacuums are NOT accepted.

Businesses, municipalities and schools are charged the same fees as the residents, however they must call the County recycling coordinator, Ermin Siljkovic at 845-291-3246 to schedule a disposal date and they must send in an inventory list of what they are disposing of prior to scheduled disposal date. In addition, a C7 form needs to be filled out and brought to the transfer station on the scheduled disposal date. C7 forms are available on the County website at: https://www.orangecountygov.com/1561/Electronics-Recycling
