Good afternoon, this is John Revella, Village Manager of the Village of Walden, today is Tuesday September 27, 2022, it is approximately 2:00PM. I am reaching out to advise all residents that starting Monday October 3, 2022 and ending Friday October 14, 2022, the New York State DOT will be doing roadwork on Main Street, East Main Street, Orange Avenue and West Main Street in the Village from approximately 9AM to 4PM. During this time we ask that you please try to avoid travel in this area, as there will be frequent lane closures and detours. We are told that the grinding and resurfacing work that will occur on Route 52 and Route 208 in the Village was required to be moved to daytime hours due to temperatures and the need to complete the project this year. We thank you again for your understanding and hope there are not too many inconveniences.
