NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FY-2025 CDBG APPLICATION
VILLAGE OF WALDEN BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walden will hold a public hearing on May 7, 2024 at 6:30 PM or as soon as can be heard thereafter at Village Hall, 1 Municipal Square, Walden, New York 12586 to consider public comments and obtain public input on the Village’s application to the Orange County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. This program is funded and regulated at the Federal level by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered locally by the Orange County Office of Community Development. Additional program information can be found at the following website: https://www.orangecountygov.com/212/Community-Development-Block-Grant-Progra. The Village Board of Trustees will be considering projects for funding and reviewing its community development needs as part of its application process. The Village Board will, at the above time and place, hear all interested persons on this subject matter. Written communications on this topic must be received by the Village Clerk prior to the time of the public hearing and may be provided via email to Village Clerk Marisa Kraus at: mkraus@villageofwalden.org.
