Join us for the 4th Annual 6K Race in memory of Rod MacDonald on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 8:30am (rain or shine). The race begins and ends at James W. Olley Community Park (East and Sherman Avenues in Walden) and winds through the Village of Walden for 3.72 miles (see map on the application for course layout). We will be using the electronic number timing system and there will be water stations and split times at intervals throughout the race. Refreshments will be served after the race and the winners will be announced. Awards will be given to the Top Three Male and Female finishers in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-15; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and over.
Pre-Registration applications will be accepted up until August 1, 2013 and the cost is $20 per runner when received by August 1, 2013. Race day registration tables will be set up at James W. Olley Park beginning at 7:30am on Saturday, August 10, 2013 and the cost will be $25 per runner. Non-Competitive Walkers are also welcome and the cost is $10 per person.
