A snow emergency is determined by the presence of 2” of snow on Monument Square (small park across Scofield St. by Public Library). Upon declaration of a snow emergency, vehicles are prohibited from parking on any village street. The emergency is in effect until called off by Walden Police Department. Snow emergency notifications will be posted on this website, sent out via text messages and sent out via email for those that sign up (sign up on this website). Or you can call 778-4919 for updated status before returning your vehicle to the street.
