The Walden Police Department will be hosting its 6th annual “National Night out Against Crime” on August 7th 2012 from 6pm to 10pm at Bradley Field in Walden, New York.  This event is designed to heighten crime & drug prevention as well as awareness while building support and participation in local anti-crime programs.  Most importantly, it will send the message to criminals that our neighborhoods are organized and will not tolerate crime.  It is a great chance to educate more people about crime prevention, while celebrating our community and spending time with our neighbors.

This event is free to both the vendors and the public. In 2010, we had a remarkable turn out with an estimated 3500 people. The event was a success because we had 80 vendors participating and it has grown in size each year. At this time we are currently looking for vendors to showcase their products or services to the estimated 4000 people that will be in attendance for this year’s event. We ask that vendors provide free give aways with the opportunity to explain their products or services to the people in attendance.

If you need any further information concerning vendors, please call me and I will be happy to help you. Thank you for your time and support in this matter and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Officer John Conklin
