MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

What: Roundtable Discussion: Community Patterns

Newburgh Area Transportation & Land Use Study

When: Wednesday, March 30th, 7:00 PM

Where: Village of Montgomery Senior Center

36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, NY

If you are someone (or knows someone) who has specific knowledge of the transportation and land use issues in the area and the needs of the community, we welcome your input.

The focus of this roundtable will be on strategies to improve transportation and support community development in the Villages of Montgomery, Walden, and Maybrook, as well as other neighborhood centers in the study area.  We will be discussing land use patterns, strategies for future development, and infrastructure investment, especially as they relate to transportation and mobility. We are interested in hearing your thoughts and better understanding local concerns and desires.

In addition to discussing transportation and land use within the study area Villages and other centers, discussion will also consider the role these areas play within the larger region in order to answer questions such as these:

  • How should new residential growth and economic development fit within our existing communities?
  • How might transportation infrastructure be improved to assist in creating the communities we want?

Thank you in advance for your help and insights. We look forward to seeing you there! To help us anticipate attendance, please call or email
